THE BOONDOCKS
In 2008, Kris opened The Boondocks to find natural solutions for health issues. She learned to grow and distill herbs to create her own herbal products. Kris is now a certified herbalist and aromatherapist. She has 87 acres where she grows a multitude of herbs and native plants, such as German chamomile, bee balm, and many more. The Boondocks sells a variety of handmade products including Lye soaps, Hydrosols, Herbal Teas, Lotions, and more.

The main herbs she cultivates for her teas, distillations, & soaps include German chamomile, bee balm, catmint & catnip, & many more! A Copper Alembic Still is used to distill plants & trees for the water portion of the lye soaps, hydrosols (aka floral waters such as Rose & Witch Hazel), lotions, & botanical room sprays
